Announcing...

Announcing: a self portrait photo project. There's a photographer who goes by the name "Lauren Lemon", and she had a photo project a while back where she posted a new self portrait every day for a year straight. Leaving her with 365 photos that I believe she turned into a photo book. So this got me inspired to do something similar. Except, instead of once a day, I will be posting a group of photos from a shoot once a week. I'm not sure if I'll do it for a whole year; but basically until I run out of ideas or no longer have time to. Each shoot will have a completely different theme.

The photo above isn't really meant to be part of the project, it was only meant to be my announcement photo. So I didn't spend nearly as much time on it as I did with the few shoots I've done so far. I had a few ideas using the wood going across the top to make part of the announcement, but after messing with it, I felt it looked somewhat cheesy and decided not to do it. So my announcement remains only in the description. 

When I feel this project has come to completion I will do a post on the blog displaying some of the pieces I feel were best as a summary of the project. Until then, the photos will be posted on my social media pages, so please make sure to follow me on them if you're interested in what's to come from this project.
